UUS Welcomes Our New DLRE, Marsha Thrall
We’re delighted to announce that after an exhaustive search, which included restarting UUS RE visioning process to discern what our hopes are for family ministry and lifespan religious education, UUS has hired Marsha Thrall to be our new Director of Lifespan Religious Education. UUS Earns Green Building Award
The Unitarian Universalist Society’s green building project was recognized with a 2019 Best Development Award from 1000 Friends of Iowa. Several members of the congregation were on hand to receive the award in the “new civic” category on January 22.
The Free Lunch Program is our November Community Partner
The Free Lunch Program operates six days a week, with volunteer teams preparing and serving nutritious meals to anyone who is hungry. The guiding principle of unconditional respect and hospitality has been as integral to the program as the hot, nourishing meals. Click for more information and to support our monthly partner.
