The Ministerial Search Committee has announced Rev. Diana Smith as their recommended candidate to become the congregation’s next settled minister. Rev. Diana will virtually engage with the UUS community in a variety of ways during a ten-day Candidating Week beginning on Wednesday, April 22, including leading Sunday services on April 26 and May 3.

The next phase of the ministerial search process will begin with small group discussions (cottage meetings) for groups of 10 to 12 people. Sessions will be at UUS before the services on October 13 and 20, and after the services on October 27 and November 3. Sign up online or after services.

Beyond Categorical Thinking Workshop, Oct. 6

Rev. Keith Kron of the UUA Transitions Office will lead this important workshop as part of the ministerial search process. The goal is to help congregation members recognize and move beyond any biases they may hold in their vision of an acceptable minister. Lunch and childcare provided, register online.
